Add Sales Tracker to Lightning Pages

The Akoonu Sales Tracker widget displays real-time progress metrics on any Salesforce Lightning page. You can embed it on Opportunity pages, Account pages, your homepage, or anywhere you want quick visibility into monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance.

Before you begin: Install Akoonu Sales Tracker from the AppExchange and ensure you have edit access to Lightning pages.

Add the widget to a page

  1. Open the page you want to customize (for example, an Opportunity record page).

  2. Click the Setup gear icon in the top-right corner and select Edit Page.

  3. In the Lightning App Builder left sidebar, scroll to the Custom section.

  4. Drag the Akoonu Sales Tracker component to your desired location on the page. It works in both narrow and wide columns.

Configure the widget

In the right panel, adjust these settings:

  • Popover Direction: Choose "top" (default) or "side". If you place the widget high on the page, use "side" to prevent the popover from being cut off.

  • Field API Name: Enter the field to track (default is "Amount"). For custom metrics like MRR, enter the API name (e.g., "MRR__c").

Restrict visibility (optional)

To show the widget only to licensed users:

  1. Click Set Component Visibility → Add Filter.

  2. In the filter dialog, switch to the Advanced tab.

  3. Set Field to Permissions → Custom Permission → Akoonu_Sales_Tracker_User.

  4. Set the operator to Equal and value to true.

  5. Click Done.

Save and activate

  1. Click Save in the top-right corner.

  2. If prompted, click Activate → Assign as Org Default.

  3. Select your form factors (e.g., Desktop), then click Review assignments → Save.

Return to the page to see the widget displaying This Month, This Quarter, and This Year metrics.

Use the same process to add the Sales Tracker to other pages like Account records or your homepage for instant visibility anywhere you need it.
